Our incredible team at Mosaic is looking for a **Veterinary Medical Receptionist** to join our progressive, mixed animal practice in Drayton Valley, AB on a full-time basis working 9.5 paid hours 4 days per week.

We may be biased, but we think that our team at Rocky Rapids Veterinary Services is pretty special. Our team of 15 staff is a close-knit group of professionals who will be the first to tell you how much they love working together. **The Opportunity**:
Our VMR’s must possess strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and in-person communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Our employees are passionate and show great compassion for animals and their owners and understand the stress that patients and clients endure. As we are a mixed animal practice, VMR’s must be comfortable working around multiple species of animals. Our VMR’s daily duties comprise of the following, but they are not limited to these duties: greeting clients; differentiating routine cases from emergency cases; scheduling appointments; entering client, patient, and financial data into the computer; generating invoices and explaining them to clients; processing payments; and managing the retrieval and storage of medical records.

- The ability to lift 35+ pounds without assistance;
- Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure;
- Completion of a high-school diploma
- Competence in the English language
- Preference given to those with previous industry experience
