- Supervise daily operations of the Quality Department.
- Identify and resolve problems, complete audits, determine system improvements and implement changes.
- Ensure all shifts are staffed with trained personnel who can ensure conformity to product requirements.
- Handle disciplinary issues as they arise and recommend remedial actions to Human Resources.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, including failed processes, studies, recalls, and corrective actions.
- Manage cross-functional problem-solving and continuous improvement teams and activities.
- Oversee PFMEA, APQP, and PPAP activities requiring QC lab measurements.
- Help maintain an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Support company Health & Safety policies.
- Manage the maintenance of 5S expectations in the QC Lab and office.
- Performs all other duties.
- Technical degree, preferably in Quality or Engineering.
- 5 years of experience as a Quality professional in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent.
- Advanced understanding and experience with ISO9001, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO14001 certification systems.
- Strong team-building and leadership skills with experience in a managerial position.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to staff privacy.
- Ability to identify employee development needs and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
- Superior attention to detail in all areas of work.
