Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking an Environmental Technologist to join our Team in our Labrador City office.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Environmental Technologist will help execute a wide range of assigned field sampling programs such as water sampling, ambient air monitoring, worker exposure, workplace monitoring, safety inspections, hazardous materials sampling and audits. You will assist in developing various types of hygiene, health and safety documentation, prepare technical reports and liaise with clients to ensure their needs and goals are met.
A Day in the life of an Environmental Technologist at Pinchin:
In-House training (office & field) on sampling programs and procedures. Conduct onsite sampling for ambient air and water.Conduct site investigations – asbestos, mould, mercury, PCBs, lead etc.Conduct field work, including visits to sites and supervise remediation activities Conduct Building Condition and Environmental Site AssessmentsInterpret and analyze sample results in relation to legislative requirements and industry-accepted guidelinesInvestigate, test and evaluate moisture and/or air penetration in the building envelopePrepare technical reportsSummarize, collate and interpret results and findings of field investigations and assessments for technical reportsPrepare drawings and construction review reportsManage time of projects effectively and efficientlyLiaise with clients and sub-contractors to ensure health, safety and hygiene needs are addressed and metDevelop and maintain positive client relationshipsWhat you bring to the Pinchin team:
