Pinchin is seeking an Environmental Technologist to join our team in our Labrador City office. As an Environmental Technologist, you will play a key role in executing field sampling programs, developing hygiene and safety documentation, and liaising with clients to ensure their needs are met.

A Day in the Life of an Environmental Technologist at Pinchin

• Conduct onsite sampling for ambient air and water.
• Conduct site investigations – asbestos, mould, mercury, PCBs, lead etc.
• Conduct field work, including visits to sites and supervise remediation activities.
• Conduct Building Condition and Environmental Site Assessments.
• Interpret and analyze sample results in relation to legislative requirements and industry-accepted guidelines.
• Investigate, test and evaluate moisture and/or air penetration in the building envelope.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Summarize, collate and interpret results and findings of field investigations and assessments for technical reports.
• Prepare drawings and construction review reports.
• Manage time of projects effectively and efficiently.
• Liaise with clients and sub-contractors to ensure health, safety and hygiene needs are addressed and met.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.

• Ability to undergo security clearances and drug and alcohol testing as required by clients.
