Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager of the Industrial Division, the person sought for the position of Receptionist and Human Resources Assistant will be based at our Baie-d'Urfé plant, will be in charge of reception and will support HR activities.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, new employees, vendors, guests and applicants
  • Participate in the recruitment of positions in the plants, to support the HR of the 2 plants
  • Answer the phone and screen calls
  • Be the first contact for all callers and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Inform employees on their benefits, shoe coupons, group insurance, etc.
  • Receive and distribute mail
  • Manage conference room reservations
  • Control inventory and place orders for office supplies
  • Act as an intermediary between the accounting department and the vice-president for the approval and signature of invoices
  • Assist in the billing process and manage petty cash
  • Provide support to the quality control for various projects
  • Provide support to the sales team for the sample process
  • Manage the coffee machines and their supply
  • Manage uniforms in collaboration with our external supplier
  • Do data entry for various departments
  • Participate in projects
  • Any other related human resources or office tasks

Qualifications:

  • AEC or DEC in administration or related field (an asset)
  • 1 to 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Experience in human resources (an asset)
  • Customer satisfaction oriented and personable
  • Bilingualism required both orally and in writing (French and English)
  • Excellent command of the Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Sense of professionalism and discretion
