OVERVIEW
Vertex offers a modern, company owned and maintained, fleet of vacuum, hydro-vac, pressure, water, steam trucks, chemical units and industrial cleaning equipment, capable of meeting all drilling, production, turnaround, plant and completion needs of our clients.
Vertex is currently accepting applications for one full-time, permanent Business Development Representative. The business development representative will promote Industrial Cleaning focusing on Vacuum Services. The successful candidate will have prior experience in business development and must have experience in the Industrial Cleaning and Vacuum Service industry. The successful candidate must be results driven, detail oriented, possess relevant sales and management experience, and have a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment. This position will be promoting services in Fort McMurray, Conklin, Cold Lake and Lac La Biche with the possibility of building business in further regional areas.

5 years of oilfield servicing experience, preference to be given to candidates with a strong background in Industrial Cleaning and Vacuum Services 5 years of experience in sales, generating business opportunities, and general entrepreneurship Post-secondary education in business is an asset Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite Experience using a CRM system Ability to travel throughout Canada Strong organizational skills, ability to manage changing priorities, and the ability to multi task effectively in order to meet deadlines Comfortable working with a wide range of people in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Presentation experience with both small and large groups Excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a fast pace environmentRESPONSIBILITIES
Source new business opportunities, clients, and services Travel within the territory to ensure a local presence and understanding of clients and competitors Understand the regional marketplace; develop growth with focus on services that are purchased locally Manage existing clients, business contracts, and support operation personnel on workflow Manage internal & external relationships to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and that business relationships are maintained in a professional, service oriented mannerAssist with proposal documents (RFP) and quotes In the event workload requires it, adjust focus to be operationally focused in the execution of projects, contracts and deliverables to ensure client expectations are met
LOCATION
This position can be based out many areas, but preference will be given to candidate that reside in Fort McMurray, Lac La Biche, Conklin and Cold Lake.APPLY NOW
