Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager of Endpoint and AV Support Services, the IT Asset Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the IT asset database and asset management related processes at the college. The incumbent will act as the custodian to the core IT asset databases that house asset management information for ITS management and technicians and as a steward to the information housed within the IT asset database.

The incumbent will ensure that the surrounding processes and data accuracy of these tools and databases is as accurate as possible. The incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the proper disposal and decommissioning process at the end of the IT asset lifecycle.

The incumbent will also ensure that any documentation associated with IT asset management is available and up to date for usage within the college. Additionally, if there is a requirement for any IT assets to be audited, either by policy requirement or financial oversight, the incumbent will plan, coordinate, and oversee any related activities to fulfill this obligation.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) year diploma or equivalent in the areas of Computer Systems Support, Database Development and Design or IT Business Analysis;

ITIL Foundation v4;

Minimum three (3) years experience as follows:

Experience with IT asset management and case management software;

Experience tracking IT assets throughout their lifecycle;

Familiarity with planning and overseeing IT inventory audit projects;

Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation;

Very familiar with Microsoft Office suite;

Strong communication skills;

Strong time management skills.

Anticipated Weekly Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 9am-1pm, Friday 9am-12pm
