Un artiste DMP est chargé de produire des représentations photographiques des arrière-plans, des décors ou de tout autre élément qui n'a pas pu être filmé, ainsi que d'améliorer les éléments de CG.

Responsabilités :

- Création d'éléments 2D dans Photoshop avec une excellente connaissance de la perspective, des couleurs/valeurs, de l'échelle et de l'atmosphère.

- Construction de géo proxy sur la base de matchmove, de scans ou de layouts

- Projeter des éléments 2D sur la géométrie dans un logiciel de composition

- Création slap comp avec des éléments DMP

- Création de concepts/photobash

- Utilisation d'UV ou d'outils de composition tels que Smart Vector pour appliquer des améliorations 2D sur une géométrie en mouvement

 

Exigences :

  • Maîtrise de Photoshop, Maya et Nuke.
  • Connaissance approfondie des techniques de matte painting, notamment de l'espace colorimétrique et des techniques de peinture numérique.
  • Posséder d'excellentes compétences en communication artistique, ainsi qu'un excellent sens du détail.
  • Flexibilité pour produire des concepts artistiques à partir de zéro
  • Solide connaissance et compréhension des pipelines d'effets visuels, de la production et de la mise en œuvre.
  • Vous devez inclure votre curriculum vitae actuel et votre bande démo avec les détails.

A DMP Artist is responsible for producing photographic representations of backgrounds, sets or any other element that could not be filmed as well as enhancement of CG elements. 

Requirements

  • Must be proficient with using Photoshop, Maya and Nuke
  • Strong knowledge of matte painting techniques including color space, digital paint techniques
  • Possess excellent artistic communication skills, as well as an excellent eye for detail
  • Flexibility to produce concept art from scratch
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of visual effects pipelines, production, and implementation
  • Must include your current resume and Demo reel with breakdowns 

Responsibilities:

  • Creating 2D elements in Photoshop with excellent knowledge of perspective, colors/values, scale and atmosphere
  • Building proxy geo based on matchmove, scans or layouts
  • Projecting 2D elements on geometry in compositing software 
  • Creating slap comps with DMP elements 
  • Creating concept/photobashes
  • Using UV's or compositing tools such as Smart Vector to apply 2D enhancements on moving geometry

Additional Requirements:

  • Must live in Montreal and already be eligible to work in Canada. It is not possible to provide work visa or relocation assistance for this position.
  • Pixomondo is an international company established in 5 countries. For production purposes, fluency in English is required.
