Regional Administrator

Position Summary

As a key member of the operations Team for our Edmonton portfolio, we are seeking a Regional Administrator- RTDRS

This role will have overall responsibility for representing Mainstreet at the Residential Tenancy Dispute Resolution services (RTDRS) along with assisting with the finalization of moveouts, adjusting ledgers, adding and removing charges as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Move-outs: Complete the full cycle

Generate a move-out report, and ensure all move-outs are processed on time as per the legal requirements of the RTA. All move-outs must be completed with no exceptions no later than the 4th of each month.Review all move-out inspections and ensure all move-out charges are accurate; follow up with the RMs and Regionals if needed.Follow up with tenants who are willing to pay for their move-out charges voluntarily to avoid any outstanding.

2. Collections & RTA :

Generate delinquency reports at the beginning of the month, review ledgers and assess outstanding collections amounts.Ensure form 26.1 is served on the 16th of every month by the RM to all the tenants whom they have outstanding and a copy saved in the system.Prepare and File all tenants with an outstanding balance to the RTAReview the RTA portal frequently; schedule hearings, prepare, collect and upload evidence to the RTA portalFollow up and coordinate with the RMs to ensure all legal notices are served to the tenants as per the RTA requirements, for example, hearing notices, court orders etc.Arrange for Bailiff , if needed, for evictions Arrange for payment and/or payment plans (HO approval required) if the full balance cannot be paid and follow up until complete.Run weekly management reports from Yardi & provide to RegionalsMust be familiar with all RTA forms and able to file all different types of cases.

3. Accounting Duties: Includes the following, but is not limited to;

Create batches for payments, charges, and adjustments for residential tenantsUnderstand how to read and explain ledgers thoroughly to past and current clients, as well as other team membersTenant ledger review to ensure accuracy and create adjustments if necessary Process deposits and post checks to tenant accounts and provide receipts if necessaryOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Possess post-secondary education in a related field and/or equivalent work experience.Prior experience in a residential multi-family environment is an asset
