Spectrum Health Care is looking for Part Time/Casual  Physiotherapy Assistants (OTA/PTA) to work in facility settings in Toronto.

Job Description

Work with the Physiotherapist and other members of the multidisciplinary team, develops, implements and evaluates individual programs Provides therapy sessions as instructed including balancing and strengthening exercises for seniors Attends patient related meetings to report on assessment findings and discusses plans for interventions Implements treatment plans based on assessment, patient input and in conjunction with the patient’s integrated care plan Maintains accurate and complete clinical records

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in the Physiotherapy Assistant Program from a recognized community college program or school registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities or equivalent in training and experience 1+ year of experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant  Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
