We are looking for a Product Introduction Controller for various projects across Canada and the US.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Finance Managers to ensure the Product Introduction workpackage is properly aligned.
- Coordinate financial reviews with the different operational managers from the Product Introduction team.
- Prepare in coordination with the project team the different reports for the monthly Work Package Reviews following Alstom standards.
- Ensure that actuals and cost at completion of a work package (WP) are accurate.
- Pro-active activities to mitigate overcosts by making proposals to the different areas (Purchasing, Production...) to generate savings.
- Ensure that all financial processes and internal controls, including DoA, are implemented, robust and compliant.
- Provide management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making.
- Ad-hoc reporting on project including special investigations of issues arising
Required Profile:
- Graduate with financial background
- 2-4 years of relevent work experience
- Good technical as well as process understanding combined with a constant focus on possible optimizations
- High affinity for working with numbers and/or processing and evaluating numbers
- Bilingual
- Sure handling of MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience using ERP, SAP, an asset
- Analytical thinking, high team and communication skills
- Independent and solution-oriented way of working.
- Team player and positive mindset.
Responsibilités:
- Supporter les gestionnaire financiers de projets et s'assurant que la fonction d'introduction de produits est bien évalué.
- Coordonner les revues financières avec les différents responsables opérationnels de l'équipe d'introduction de produits.
- Préparer en coordination avec l'équipe projet les différents rapports pour les revues mensuels selon les standards Alstom
- S'assurer que les couts réels et projectés pour compléter le contrat sont exacts et bien valorisés.
- Identifier, proactivement, des économies et plans de mitigation aux risques de façon a maintenir les couûts totaux estimés constants lors des revues de projets.
- Veiller à ce que tous les processus financiers et contrôles internes, y compris le DoA, soient mis en œuvre de façcon robuste et conforme.
- Fournir à la direction des données financières fiables afin d’aider à la prise de décision.

Qualifications & compétences:
- Baccalauréat en Administration des affaires. Titre comptable est un attout
- 2-4 années d'expérience pertinente. Environnement manufacturier est un attout
- Très Bonne compréhension technique combinée à un fort intérête pour l'optimisation de processus
- Très bonne maitrise de la suite MS Office, spécifiquement Excel
- Expérience avec utilisation d'un système ERP, SAP est un attout
- Esprit analytique et tres bonne capacité de communication.
- Joueur d'équipe avec un attitute positive face aux changements
- Bilingue (anglais/francais)
