Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor at Canfab’s Oshawa facility will have the following major responsibilities:
Oversee manufacturing and ensure the highest-levels of production and quality by supervising and collaborating with staff; managing employee performance; scheduling, reporting, organizing and monitoring workflows in close partnership with all relevant departments, including operations, sales, logistics, shipping, maintenance, and human resources.

**General Responsibilities**
- Ensure that Canfab reaches or exceeds its production objectives by managing employee performance; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating solutions, coordinating, and enforcing company-wide systems, policies and procedures, problem solving.
- Maintain high levels of employee engagement and retention by overseeing employee orientation, training, development, and personal growth opportunities.
- Maintain effective and efficient workflows by monitoring all steps of the manufacturing process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork within assigned production teams.
- Reach or exceed production volumes and quality standards by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting production results through various mechanisms, including shift production summaries.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Ensure proper and safe operation of equipment by enforcing proper operation practices, calling for repairs, evaluating state of equipment, and revising production techniques if needed.
- Compile, initiate, sort, and analyze production and quality assurance performance records and data.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
- Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.

Relevant directement du directeur des opérations, le superviseur de la production de l'usine d'Oshawa aura les principales responsabilités suivantes:
Gérer la fabrication tout en s’assurant des plus hauts niveaux de production et de qualité en supervisant le personnel et en collaborant avec lui, en gérant le rendement des employés, en établissant des horaires, en produisant des rapports, en organisant et en surveillant les flux de travail en étroite collaboration avec tous les services concernés, y compris les opérations, les ventes, la logistique, l'expédition, la maintenance et les ressources humaines.

Responsabilités générales:

- S’assurer que Canfab atteigne ou dépasse ses objectifs de production, en gérant les performances des employés ; en communiquant les attentes professionnelles ; en planifiant, en surveillant et en évaluant les résultats en encadrant, en conseillant et en disciplinant les employés ; en leur proposant des solutions, en coordonnant et en appliquant les processus, les politiques et les procédures à l'échelle de l'entreprise
- Maintenir des niveaux élevés d'engagement et de rétention des employés en supervisant l'orientation, la formation, le développement et les opportunités de croissance personnelle des employés.
- Maintenir des flux de travail efficaces et efficients en surveillant toutes les étapes du processus de fabrication ; en définissant des variables de traitement ; en observant les points de contrôle et les équipements ; en surveillant le personnel et les ressources ; en étudiant les méthodes utilisées; en mettant en œuvre des réductions de coûts ; en élaborant des procédures et des systèmes de reporting ; en facilitant les corrections des dysfonctionnements au sein des points de contrôle du processus ; en initiant et en favorisant un esprit de coopération et de travail d'équipe au sein des équipes de production assignées.
