YOUR ROLE:

As a Sales representative, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our company’s growth while enjoying a dynamic and supportive work environment. You'll be at the forefront of promoting and selling our products. You will manage relationships with distributors and contractors, showcasing our competitive edge and exploring market potential.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Engage with Distributors and Contractors: Demonstrate our complete product offerings, provide competitive feature comparisons, discuss market potential, share growth opportunities, and understand the specific needs and wants of our customers;

Educate and Build Knowledge: Conduct fact-finding and prospecting activities to educate partners within the territory about our products and build their knowledge;

Develop Market Awareness : Make user/specifier calls to firms responsible for specifying and selecting equipment used in residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial applications, with a focus on electrical installation contracting firms, design-build firms, and consulting engineers; Analyze Market Trends: Use fact-finding and prospecting techniques to gather information and consistently understand market trends;

Develop Training Tools: Create and recommend training tools, such as webinars and videos, to maximize performance and meet objectives.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED?

College diploma in Business Administration (Marketing or Sales) or equivalent experience; 3-5 years of relevant sales experience; A valid driver’s license; Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce is an asset; Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; Electrical product and industry knowledge are an asset; The ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications is an asset; An independent, dynamic, and responsible attitude with minimal supervision needed.

The candidate must be available to work on a flexible schedule occasionally, in order to participate in trade shows, industry events, and other important activities.
