Temple Sinai Congregational School is looking to hire a drama educator to teach as a specialist in our supplementary school. The candidate should be passionate about Jewish Education, drama and movement, and working with children.

September 8, 2024 to May 4, 2025

Sundays: 8.45 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. JK to Grade 6

Qualifications

Experience working with school- age learners Creative, dependable, energetic and organized Be a team player and work collaboratively with the classroom teachers and the Director Ability to support each child in the classroom as part of the curriculum Basic Hebrew skills are an asset Police Vulnerable Check will be requested

Teacher Roles

Lead drama activities for classes from grades K-6 that are age appropriate, meaningful, and tied to the curricular themes Plan, instruct, and evaluate lessons guided by the school curriculum Work with the Director of Education and Congregational Learning to design the drama curriculum With the classroom teacher, engage each student meaningfully in the activities
