Data Entry Clerk-Inventory

Our Stoney Creek/Hamilton client in the not-for-profit sector is looking for an analytical Data Entry Clerk who can help organize and input their backlog of data. This role would require an independent worker who has great attention to detail and strong proficiencies in managing and organizing databases.
If you have experience in sorting and organizing databases, then this role might be for you This contracted position would be until the end of 2024, for a not for profit organization that assists in the distribution of emergency food programs to hunger relief agencies.

Advantages
-3 month contract
-$24-26/hr
-Monday-Friday
-8:30am-4:30am (half hour unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities
-Prepare and sort documents / data sheets for the purpose of data entry
-Performs analysis using current databases
-Establish entry priorities by maintaining understanding of what data needs to be entered first
- Check to make sure that accurate data has been entered into the database
- Follow data program techniques and procedures to maintain data entry requirements
- Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, changing or deleting entered information
- Check completed work for accuracy and make any required changes immediately
- Filing/Scanning and additional administrative duties
- Reception Backup
Qualifications
-Adequate knowledge of databases systems
-Must have analytical and problem solving skills
-Must be detail oriented and a self starter
-2-3 years of experience in data entry in a warehouse/distribution setting
-Able to work independently
