Senior Casualty Adjuster

Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Desk Adjuster, Liability Claims to join our commercial claims team based in Ontario, Canada . This position can be done remotely from home, anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities
The qualified candidate will be responsible for evaluating commercial auto and property claims through loss investigation and negotiates settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.
Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information Evaluates coverage, liability, and quantum Negotiates, settles, and finalizes claims Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records Work with manager to maintain client relations
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of technical claims handing experience in commercial liability claims Bodily Injury claims experience and litigation experience is required Post Secondary education in an insurance related field will be considered an asset CIP designation is required, or working towards is required Full Ontario Independent Adjuster License required Strong computer and reporting skills including Office 365 and Windows 10 A team player with outstanding customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and mathematical ability Able to manage multiple priorities Strong PC skills including application based skills Complete continuing education courses as required by Crawford and Company, province, or professional trade association
