The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Supervisor, the main responsibilities of the Underground Services Miner will be:

He performs his tasks according to the safety standards in effect (road safety and health and safety);He inspects his equipment before and after his shift;Responsible for the descent of the underground material and the maintenance of the refuge chambers;If necessary, he will perform any other tasks requested by his supervisor.

Qualifications

Must be able to operate at least 2 of the following equipment: Boomtruck, Lube Truck, Toyota Jeep;Possess a high school diploma (DES);Possess FMTM mining modules 1 to 5 and 7;Possess a class 1 driver's license;Possess an explosives permit is mandatory;Have successfully completed a heavy equipment course or have experience deemed equivalent.Good knowledge of preventive mechanics is an asset; Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to facilitate and improve internal communications.
