What will you do?

As ZTE you will provide product expertise in Smart Infrastructure / Smart Building Technology Solutions in Automation products and 3rd party systems to Zone staff. You will also deliver training and technical support for field technicians and specialists; provide on-site technical troubleshooting for resolution of customer issues; and provide advanced technical assistance for Sales activities.

Duties include:

Diagnose and resolve technical problems on jobs and provide appropriate reports to management. Troubleshoot network, software, and/or hosted system malfunctions. Leverage remote connectivity to improve rapid problem solving with technicians and customers. Work with other Zone Technology Experts to develop and share technical solutions. Stay current with Siemens product documentation and communicate updates to Field Technicians and Specialists Maintain technical expertise on all products, tools and gateways through continuing education initiatives. Coach Field Technicians on company systems and service offerings. Provide technical sales assistance and support on latest company products. Perform product demonstrations and communicates design strategies to Sales Executives. Provide Manager a monthly report of all activities performed (Sales support, Technical and Application support, training, mentoring, etc). Supports all SI staff, in the offices in the assigned Zone.

What will you need to succeed?

Post-secondary education (Technical College or University) in related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years engineering/systems experience. Domain experience in Automation systems. Knowledge and experience in Information Technology/Operational Technology (IT/OT); relevant IT certifications Demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully apply knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in particular specialization. Demonstrate knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. Strong problem-solving skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing. Asset: IT / Network certifications; industry related certifications i.e. Microsoft, Cisco, EIT, ASHRAE, NICET, or CISSP Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French to interact with the national team. #LI - onsite# LI - RSS# LI - SI
