We are currently looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Hawkesbury, Ontario. You will play a crucial role in providing day-to-day support including payroll and benefits at the site while also contributing to corporate HR initiatives This position is designed as a developmental role, offering significant opportunities for learning and professional growth. As the incumbent gains experience and expertise, role responsibilities will expand in scope to align with their continuous learning journey. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager and dotted line to the Regional HR Manager.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Day-to-Day Site Support:

Serve as a resource for employees, addressing their HR-related inquiries and concerns professionally and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve employee issues and ensure timely follow-up while maintaining confidentiality. You will be part of HY management team and responsible of all HR KPI’s.

Corporate HR Support:

Contribute to corporate HR projects, programs, and initiatives, providing valuable insights and support to the broader HR team.

Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with corporate objectives.

New Hire Onboarding and Compliance:

Oversee the complete onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive proper training and orientation.

Continuous Improvement:

Proactively identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance HR operations.

Employee Engagement and Culture Enhancement:

Actively participate in organizing employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition events.

Solicit feedback from employees and contribute ideas to enhance employee satisfaction and improve the overall organizational culture.

HR Data Management:

Manage and update employee records, including personal information, benefits, using the HR information system WORKDAY.

Communication and Collaboration:

Assist in the development and delivery of effective communications to the HR team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Relevant three (3) years’ experience in a similar role

Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of HR.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Experience in manufacturing and/or industrial sectors is an asset

Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'un ( e) Generaliste en ressources humaines pour rejoindre notre équipe à Hawkesbury, en Ontario. Vous jouerez un rôle clé en fournissant un soutien quotidien, y compris la paie et les avantages sociaux sur le site, tout en contribuant aux initiatives RH de l'entreprise. Ce poste est conçu comme un poste de développement, offrant d'importantes opportunités d'apprentissage et de croissance professionnelle. RÉSUMÉ DES PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

Soutien quotidien sur le site :

Servez de ressource pour les employés, en répondant à leurs questions et préoccupations liées aux RH de manière professionnelle, et collaborez avec les départements concernés pour résoudre les problèmes des employés et assurer un suivi rapide tout en maintenant la confidentialité. Vous ferez partie de l'équipe de gestion du site et serez responsable de tous les indicateurs de performance RH.

Soutien RH de l'entreprise :

Contribuez aux projets, programmes et initiatives RH de l'entreprise, tout en contribuant à l'équipe RH élargie.

Aide à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de politiques, procédures et lignes directrices RH conformes aux objectifs de l'entreprise. 

Intégration des nouveaux employés et conformité :

Supervisez l'ensemble du processus d'intégration des nouveaux employés, en veillant à ce qu'ils reçoivent une formation et une orientation appropriées.

Amélioration continue : Identifiez de manière proactive les domaines nécessitant des améliorations de processus et proposez des solutions innovantes pour améliorer les opérations RH.

Engagement des employés et amélioration de la culture :

Participez activement à l'organisation d'initiatives d'engagement des employés, telles que des activités de renforcement d'équipe, des programmes de bien-être et des événements de reconnaissance. Sollicitez les commentaires des employés et proposez des idées pour améliorer la satisfaction des employés et renforcer la culture organisationnelle globale.

Gestion des données RH : Gérez et mettez à jour les dossiers des employés, y compris les informations personnelles et les avantages, en utilisant le système d'information RH WORKDAY.

Communication et collaboration :

Contribuez au développement et à la diffusion de communications efficaces auprès de l'équipe RH et collaborez avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour soutenir les initiatives et projets RH.

Qualifications :

Baccalauréat en ressources humaines ou dans un domaine connexe (ou expérience équivalente).

Trois (3) années d'expérience pertinente dans un rôle similaire.

Désir d'apprendre et de progresser dans le domaine des RH.

Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.

Capacité à maintenir la confidentialité et à gérer des informations sensibles. L'expérience dans les secteurs de la fabrication et/ou de l'industrie est un atout.

Bilingue.
