Our client is located at the Western end of Lake Ontario on the St. Lawrence Seaway. We are currently recruiting for experienced heavy equipment operators that will be an integral part of the material handling and logistics operations. The position operates on rotating 12-hour continental shifts.

Here is What You Will Be Doing:

Load and transport raw materials and by-products from Primary Business UnitsMaintain raw material storage areas.Maintain ditches and drainageClean-up under conveyor systems, yard maintenance and support plant shutdown

Are you Qualified

Must have a valid G license with a clean Driver’s AbstractExperience operating machines like loaders, haulers, graders, backhoes, dozers, coal scrapers, or pollution machinesExperience operating forklift or/and overhead craneMinimum of 2 years previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferredCriminal background check is requiredHigh school diploma or GED is required

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

OvertimeDemanding and at times a harsh work environment in terms of weather and heatMust be able to commit to working variable hour and shift schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.27-$27.39 per hour
