Bollore Logistics is looking to add a Logistics Agent-Contract to it’s growing team in Montreal,QC We are looking for a dynamic individual to kick start their career in logistics.

Mission

The Logistics Agent is responsible for following up on the production as well as coordinating all courier imports and exports.

Job Summary

 Air imports:

-          Quotes with our Freight Forwarders Network – On behalf of 4PL.

-          Follow up all steps until shipment gets delivered

-      Creation of all paperwork required (invoices in excel and convert them in pdf, signed and saved in the proper drive)

 

Ocean imports:

-          Quotes with our Freight Forwarders Network

-          Follow up all steps  until shipment gets delivered

-          Creation of all paperwork required (invoices in excel and convert them in pdf, signed and saved in the proper drive)

 

Exports:

-          Quotes with our Freight Forwarders/truck carriers Network

-          Follow up all steps until shipment gets delivered

-          Follow up production forecast

-          Above applies to AIR, OCEAN and TRUCK options

 

Trucking:

-          Quotes with our truck carriers Network

-          Follow up all steps until shipment gets delivered

-          Follow up production forecast

-        Creation of all paperwork required (invoices in excel and convert them in pdf, signed and saved in the proper drive)

 

Local Deliveries

-          Above can be either in or outbond, courier or trucking methods.

 

Other duties as required by immediate Supervisor

 

 

Requirements

Education and Qualifications

  •  Diploma of collegiate studies
  • Excellent organization skills and be a proactive problem solver
  • Ability to manage own time and priorities workload to meet internal and external expectations
  •  Must be proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good interpersonal and teamworking skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an environment of change
  • Very good knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools
