We have an immediate need for Industrial Millwrights to join our Maintenance Team. In this role, you will play a key part in the repair and maintenance and repair of our facilities machines and systems such as multi- axis turning centers, specialized lens manufacturing equipment, and thin film coating chambers. Primary Responsibilities:

Interpret schematics, diagrams, manuals and written technical instructions to help troubleshoot problems and repair machinery Install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems such as high precision CNC Mills, Lathes and Optical Machines Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they lead to downtime or production delays Complete minor fabrication and rigging work as necessary, complete hand sketches and drawings if required Planning and coordinating of resources and activities within the team, other departments and external as requires Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
 

Qualifications & Experience:

Industrial Mechanic, Millwright – OR – Tool and Die Maker Certificate of Qualification required Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in manufacturing working with high precision machinery (mechanical, optical and measuring equipment) Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot , install and repair machinery effectively and efficiently Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule and respond to emergency calls as needed
