Environmental Management Coordinator

What You Will Do:
Procure and manage the services of vendors Prepare project specific procurement documents via EM’s established Standing Offer Service Agreements, review submissions, and prepare documentation to comply with procurement procedures. Coordinate the issuance of purchase orders, change orders, invoice tracking, and budgeting. Support of quarterly reporting requirements for vendor assignment budget forecasting. Manage project data to ensure up to date information available to all IO staff on status of work being performed. Support project due diligence activities relating to vendor procurement. Track vendor reporting deliverables by date and activity. Review draft reports to ensure compliance with Provincial Regulation. Provide report summaries and requirements for additional due diligence to project managers. Support EM staff on projects and programs. Assist with client, consultant, stakeholder, and regulator communications and relationships. Review and summarize due diligence findings and communicate to relevant EM Managers and project leads. Proactively identify and communicate vendor and deliverable issues to EM Managers and project leads. Respond to requests for information and support on environmental matters.
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience broadly relating to the field of environmental studies or related field. Knowledge of diverse environmental activities, issues, and mitigation measures. Knowledge of Environmental Disciplines ( Environmental Sciences, Natural Environment, and Cultural Heritage), relevant regulations, legislation and applicable processes. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical, interpretive, and project management skills.
