We are looking for millwright candidates with skilled trade certifications, who are able to work night shift

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic must work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with Stackpole International’s Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and Quality Systems, Procedures and Policies. Must become familiar and work with SPS, 5S and CI activities. Responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations.

Qualified candidates will be required to have an in person interview with the hiring client:

Pay rate $40 per hour and $4 night shift premium

Responsibilities
responsibilities will be to:
Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
Operating hoisting and lifting device to position machinery and parts during the installation, set up and repair of machinery.
Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts.
Operating machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery.
Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery.
Construction foundations for machinery.
Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
Ensures that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health and Safety Systems are met.
Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
Our requirements :
High School diploma or equivalent
College degree or Trade School Certification
Three to five years’ experience.
A strong background in hydraulics and pneumatics as well as some welding experience.
Work Environment (including Physical Demands):
Work indoors. Environment can be noisy and dealing with different temperatures
Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs
Work shifts may include days, afternoons, nights or continental
Ability to stand and walk for long periods at a time
Able to work overtime when required/requested
Language Skills: Proficient in English (both spoken and written)
Mathematical Skills: Proficient in Math
