Job Summary: Reporting to the  Director of Procurement , this position will provide support to Tilray’s Operations/Supply Chain Department in  Leamington, On . The Buyer will be responsible for End To End - Procurement / Supply Chain Process, which would include, but not limited to Identifying Qualified New Vendors, Negotiations, Contracting, Engaging in the RFx Process, Issuing Purchase Orders, Coordination & Communications with Internal & External Stake Holders, to meet the goals and objectives of Lean Manufacturing, for the department & Organization. The successful candidate for this position has experience in GMP / GPP Compliant & Regulated Manufacturing Environment and is from The Produce, CPG, Pharmaceutical or Packaging industry. A strong understanding of procurement, supply chain and continuous improvement processes. Purchasing: 2 years (preferred) Shift Time:  Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM Your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of: Managing Procurement Process for assigned portfolio – Direct, Indirect or MRO. Ability to Read, Analyze, And Procure Based on MRP & EDI Reports. Track & Monitor Accurately all open purchase orders Provide Regular Up Dates on Inbound Shipments and Vendor / SKU Related Enquiries. Ensure Shipments Meet Mandated Quality, Quantity, Documentary & Contracted Requirements. Report Deviation if any. Work with Cross Functional Teams & Assist Inventory Control Team with maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis. Develop KPI’s for Supply Chain Partners. Initiate and finalize change controls for new componentry and ingredients. Follow-up with vendors accordingly to have them approve in the system To be successful in this position you will have the following: University Graduate with Specialization in Procurement / Supply Chain Management. Familiarity with ROOTSTOCK or similar CLOUD BASED MRP Platform an asset Experience in Inventory Management - When to Utilize – LIFO, FIFO, Cycle Counts, Identify Bin Locations. Demonstrated Negotiations Skills Self-Motivated Team Player with High Level of Integrity & Ethical Qualities, Requiring Minimal Supervision Analytical – capable of understanding total cost of ownership and compare various alternatives, including Transportation & 3PL. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, Create Excel Reports, Power Point Presentations. Familiarity with Payment Term Familiarity with Inco Terms Familiarity with writing & interpreting MSA, SLA, KPI Minimum 3 years of related experience in purchasing & managing VMI, MRO, PACKAGING, PRINTING & LABELS, CPG, FOOD Industry.
