Decathlon arrived in Canada in , with its first store opening in Brossard, Québec. Today, Decathlon Canada has over teammates, more than 19 stores, one distribution center, and an e-commerce platform that services our mission: Move people through the wonders of sport.

YOUR ROLE

As a finance business partner, I support leaders in creating value. I assist the company's strategic plan with relevant analysis and develop the skills of my financial scope.

PLANNING, BUDGETING, AND FORECASTING

Assist the business unit leader in building a business plan for their strategy and work together to achieve goals.

Influence and drive strategic decisions of the company with precise budgeting.

Create financial models by comparing business units, countries, and market information.

Identify and understand business risks and challenges for planning.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING

Inform business decision-making using real-time data on ROI analysis.

Alignment with the country's strategy, ability to translate business needs into financial consequences and solutions.

Provide user-friendly business information for analysis, performance understanding, and optimized short- and medium-term decision-making.

DECISION SUPPORT AND BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

Support decision-makers and facilitate decision-making.

Influence and drive decision-making related to business model transformation.

Lead retail transformation issues in the country to ensure profitable growth.

Act as a project manager when writing economic memos and preparing budgets and financial statements for units under your responsibility.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.

3 years of experience in finance or accounting.

Leadership

Data analysis skills.

Excellent communication and synthesis skills.

Bilingualism (French and English).

Valid work permit.
