Financial Analyst Intern

This individual will support the Canada Vehicle Pricing team and the Canada Forecast/Brand Reporting team.

Responsibilities of the Finance Intern include, but are not limited to:

Completing special projects and assignments that support process improvements and efficiencyConducting competitive pricing analysisAnalyzing data that could lead to potential profit opportunities or risksConducting ad hoc reporting and analysis as requiredLiaising between Vehicle Pricing and Forecast teams as well as operating partnersIdeal candidate will have strong analytical skills, preferably a background in finance, strong Microsoft Excel/Power BI skill set with a propensity to streamline and automate

What you will learn in this organization:

Develop the skills and confidence to present information to senior managementDemonstrate to senior management the completeness and accuracy of the workProblem solving by demonstrating to senior management the ability to question the data, determine the issues, and present possible solutionsHow to communicate effectively and act as a liaison between different groups within the finance and operations teamsDevelop knowledge of profit forecasting and variance analysis

Basic Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have recently completed their studiesBachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related fieldExceptional communication skills both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Legally authorized to work in Canada
