Salary: $24.70 per hour.

SHIFT:

8 hours structure- 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm.. Monday- Friday

12 hours: 7am to 7pm- Monday- Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday.

ROLE SUMMARY: There is an opening for a Shuttle Truck Driver position. Individuals will need to* *and also need to be self-starters needing minimal direction and able to prioritize work activities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Keg deliveries- managing truck yards, managing trailers in 3 yards.

Daily circle check on vehicles. Report defect to Manager. Add vehicles fluids when required. Knowledge of applicable weight regulations. Do makeup orders or other assigned duties Movement of kegs (160 lbs.) Adherence to plant health and safety and environmental regulations required. Adherence to national Safety Code and all transport regulations imposed on large vehicles Assume responsibilities and follow any/all Standard Operating Procedures in area of responsibility. Actively implement VPO processes and use VPO tools to drive improvement in business

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a valid Class 1 Drivers License with an air brake endorsement. Must have an acceptable driving record which includes 5 Years safe driving record (Provide a Nova Scotia Drivers Abstract) in operation of a tractor-trailer. This includes, but is not limited to, 5 years accident free driving record, 5 years free of convictions for moving traffic violations, 5 years free of convictions for alcohol or drug offences Must be capable of driving all vehicles in the Company Fleet including straight trucks or tandems, tractor trailers Must successfully complete a medical examination Must be physically capable and able to satisfactorily perform all regular duties of the position including:. Must follow safe work practices including wearing proper PPE. Must be willing to work in all areas of the operation Must be willing to work shifts unsupervised as required and other duties as assigned by the Manager.
