Companion Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Driver Companion to join our team at Spectrum Health Care. As a Driver Companion, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients by driving them to various locations, providing socialization, conversation, and emotional reassurance. You will also assist with groceries and parcels, and help clients in and out of the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive clients to various locations as required
• Provide socialization, conversation, and emotional reassurance
• Assist with groceries and parcels, and help clients in and out of the vehicle
• Listen, observe, and communicate any concerns or changes in the client's physical, emotional, or environmental conditions to Spectrum management

Requirements

• Valid G license with access to a vehicle
• Clear driver's abstract
• Class 07 Rider required as a condition of employment
• Compassionate with a passion for helping others
• Two Step TB Test (within 1 year)
