Durham College is seeking an experienced and motivated professionals who share our commitment to quality and student success. The Faculty of Social and Community Services requires subject-matter experts to develop course materials for one or more courses in the ECE Supervision and Leadership Micro-Credential program including:

Financial Management in Community and Social Services Human Resources Management in Community and Social Services Pedagogy and Leadership Understanding the Early Years Act

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the development of high-quality degree level course materials:

Course outline; Course Learning Outcomes and Essential Employability Skills; Assessment criteria and timelines; Course policies; Learning plan including student learning objectives, activities and assessment dates and weighting; Course materials; Assignments with evaluation criteria and rubrics; Quizzes and tests with answer keys; and Text and/or resources selection.

The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the following qualifications:

A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). A minimum of three to five years of recent (within the past three years) experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role within and early childhood education setting Teaching experience at the post-secondary level with a demonstrated understanding and application of UDL and current assessment methodologies. Understanding of the Ontario college system.
