As a Retail Mall Security Guard, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of workers for some of the biggest brands out there We provide people with growth opportunities. 30% of our frontline employees are promoted to become part of our operation teams.

What does a Security Guard in Winnipeg do?
  • Facilitate access to restricted areas for authorized persons
  • Excessive foot patrols (interior/exterior)
  • Responding to tenant requests
  • Emergency Response
  • Monitor closed circuit cameras
  • Coordinate response to incidents
  • Respond to telephone calls received by the security department
  • Incident and daily reporting according to the site requirement and standards.
  • High level customer service to all customers and tenants
  • Removal of unauthorized individuals
Qualifications to be become Security Guard in Winnipeg?
  • Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard license
  • Fluent in English, both written and orally
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience using a two way radio.
  • Strong computer based skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Comfortable approaching individuals and de-escalating situations
  • Criminal justice or police foundations diploma is an asset
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • First Aid/CPR would be an asset
