and commercial projects across the lower mainland. You will join our growing team as a key member on the tools, both mentoring

apprentices and assisting foremen, in order to help build state-of-the-art projects for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Journeyperson you will be responsible for:

Installing electrical equipment based on blueprints and in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code specificationsConnecting wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipmentTerminating wiring in generators, transfer switches, and junction devicesObserving functions of installed equipment to detect hazards and the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacementTesting continuity of circuits to ensure integrity and safety

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Journeyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal an asset)Experience working on high rise and/or commercial new construction projectsGood knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirementsExcellent communication and time management skillsField Safety Representative ticket is an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsTypical 5-day work week; overtime may be required to meet construction deadlinesLocal work in the lower mainlandBenefits provided by CIBP
