Requirements and Nature of Work:

La personne recrutée recevra ses différents mandats directement de la chercheure principale de l'équipe, Marie-Christine Doran et devra déterminer le travail de chaque semaine en fonction des tâches spécifiques demandées par cette dernière au sein de plusieurs types de tâches possibles qui sont les suivantes:

- compiler les informations recensées dans les journaux de 6 pays latino-américains (Chili, Mexique, Colombie, Pérou, Guatemala et Brésil ) au sujet de la criminalisation des défenseurs des droits et la violence à leur endroit.

-faire des résumés de différents rapports internationaux et nationaux sur la criminalisation et la défense des droits humains en Amérique latine

-faire le suivi des nouvelles lois de criminalisation et restriction des droits individuels, civils et politiques

-préparer un résumé hebdomadaire et le soumettre à l’approbation de la chercheure principale Marie-Christine Doran afin d’alimenter le blogue de l’OVCD et le fil twitter quant aux actualités hebdomadaires

-recenser les différentes activités et forums nationaux et internationaux sur la défense des droits

-préparer des bibliographies thématiques à la demande de la chercheure principale ou des co-chercheurs de l’équipe

-aider la chercheure principale dans l’élaboration des questionnaires de recherche

-aider la chercheure principale dans les contacts en vue des premières activités de diffusion de l’OVCD

-aider la chercheure principale dans la diffusion des activités de recherche

Compétences  : excellente maitrise du français et de l’espagnol (anglais écrit est un atout); facilité de rédaction et communication, bonne maîtrise de la littérature sur les droits humains et la violence; expérience en gestion d'événements de recherche et de sites webs.
