Responsibilities

As an integral support to the project management team, the Associate Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring successful project delivery by:

Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes, ensuring all key points are captured. Coordinating and facilitating meetings, following up on action items to ensure tasks are completed. Supporting the design and documentation process, ensuring adherence to project budgets and timelines. Assisting in the creation and documentation of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), including services and FF&E items. Reviewing and documenting RFP bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations. Conducting research on client recommendations and delivering timely, well-organized results. Assisting with the review of payment requisitions, change orders, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and client procedures. Developing and maintaining project budgets, cost control logs, and ensuring real-time updates. Attending construction site visit and documenting with site photos as required. Compiling and presenting project status reports, including executive summaries and open item lists. Identifying potential issues, reporting significant findings to supervisors, and recommending solutions. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

University degree in architecture or engineering or certificate in similar disciplines with relevant experience. Degree in project management or construction management is an asset; Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in support project management of multi-disciplinary projects in the field of building construction; CAPM certification an asset; Exceptionally self-motivated and organized; Proactive and action-oriented; Ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes demanding environment requiring prioritization of actions; Proven communication skills; Ability to work in a team environment;
