Job Duties & Responsibilities
As a rock truck driver, with you be responsible for hauling materials to different locations on a project. Your duties will include:

  • Hauling materials in a 40T rock truck.
  • Loading and dumping materials.
  • Smoothly operating machine controls.
  • Performing routine equipment inspections, meticulously examining tires, fluids, lights and brakes to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Adhering to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.
  • Championing our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies.
  • Showcasing your exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrating your versatility by collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a 40T rock truck in heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining or oilfield maintenance services industry.

Requirements

  • Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional or BSO or CSO, Intermediate First Aid, H2S Alive and/or Awareness, Bear Awareness
  • Able to shovel out equipment tracks
  • Provide your own steel toed 6" lace up boots (CSA Approved)
  • Able to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.
  • Alcohol, Drug and fit to work testing is a pre-employment requirement

Rate: $23.00-$29.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
