Job Description

We offer a fantastic temporary opportunity for a local skilled Field Operator to work on our client site in the High Prairie, Mclennan, Peavine or Gift Lake Settlement , AB, Area

What would you be doing?

Maintain excellent cleanliness in plant and control room areas.  Maintain superior housekeeping standards throughout the plant process and control room areas.  Responsible for minor maintenance and the coordination of other maintenance activities.  Understand and perform safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lock-out, emergency response, and following safe work procedures.  Assist in providing a safe work environment for Maintenance and maintaining surface equipment.

Extensive knowledge of all facets of operations, including plant, field, and wellsite facilities. Strong troubleshooting skills. Clean driver's abstract. Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, and Common Safety Orientation (CSO) are required. Valid WHMIS, Confined Space - Entry & Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is considered an asset. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
