SUMMARY OF ROLE

You will be the HANDS-ON lead/directing a team of Middleware & UNIX SME responsible for operating / maintaining the Middleware Systems, concurrently implementing, tuning, and supporting UNIX systems, servers, ensuring optimum levels of availability and security of core global business applications

YOUR EXPERTISE

  • You possess a track record of collaboration with business and IT stakeholders (Enterprise/Infrastructure architecture, Software development, IT Service delivery)
  • Complete oversight for Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)/Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives
  • Accountable for problem / incident management resolution
  • Ensure all systems under administration are compliant with policies, standards, licensing agreements, configuration guidelines, and best practices
  • You possess excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical audiences. You have at least 7+ years of hands-on technical working experience in various areas of enterprise server support, maintenance, and administration.

YOUR TECHNOLOGY

  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience
  • Several years of hands-on technical working experience with IBM Power Servers, POWER9 (MUST HAVE) … AIX systems administration.
  • Expertise in managing Middleware (IBM WebSphere and/or IBM MQ) systems.
