Royal Inland Hospital Overview Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a 273‑bed facility and the primary referral centre for nearly 250,000 residents within the Thompson‑Cariboo‑Shuswap Health Service Area. The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Centre and manages over 250 major trauma cases a year, with 72,000 Emergency Department visits annually. The Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower, a $417‑million expansion opened in summer 2022, enhances mental health units and surgical services. Additional growth includes a projected $359‑million cancer centre expected to open in 2028. Terms & Compensation Compensation Type : Fee‑for‑Service Relocation Funding : Up to $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for relocations from outside Canada.
