Urology – Health Match BC – Kamloops Join to apply for the Urology role at Health Match BC Location: Kamloops, British Columbia Facility: Royal Inland Hospital (RIH), a 273‑bed facility and the primary referral centre for nearly 250,000 individuals within the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap Health Service Area. RIH is a Level 1 Trauma Centre managing over 250 major trauma cases and 72,000 Emergency Department visits each year. The Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower, a $417‑million expansion opened in the summer of 2022, and a $359‑million cancer centre are underway, expanding the hospital’s capabilities. Set amid sandstone canyons, rolling grasslands, and magnificent evergreen woods, Kamloops is a flourishing city of 100,000 with an energetic character set against a stunning natural setting. Known as the Tournament Capital of Canada, Kamloops offers excellent eateries, unique shops, exceptional recreation facilities, and an arts community, with events such as the Kamloops Film Festival and Wildlights at the BC Wildlife Park. Outdoor activities abound: fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, camping, golf, and ski resorts within 45 minutes. Role Overview The urology team in Kamloops is looking for a new colleague to join their busy, well‑established practice. You will provide a full spectrum of urology services, including elective and emergency surgical care, outpatient clinics, and a variety of endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures. You will work alongside experienced surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals in a supportive, collaborative team. Leadership development opportunities are available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program. Compensation & Benefits Compensation Type: Fee‑for‑Service Relocation Funding: Relocation reimbursement up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada. Relocation incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
