Position : Technical Writer Location : Toronto, On – Hybrid Experience requirements : Experience as a knowledge management specialist or technical writer in IT Operations and Technology domain for development of process/controls documentation Experience with industry standard documentation or knowledge management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Confluence), preferably within the financial services industry or with a financial institution Experience of JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, MS office suite or equivalent tools Job description : Create high-quality, accurate, and concise documentation for products and services, including process flows, procedure documents, governance documents, process narratives, user manuals, guides, release notes, and online help systems, in accordance with existing standards Work closely with Infrastructure pillars to gather information, clarify technical concepts, and ensure documentation accuracy. Collaborate with IT in support of documentation to enable control design and controls testing, and more comprehensive retention of institutional knowledge. Review, edit, and revise documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guides and brand standards. Develop diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to support documentation and enhance user understanding. Collaborate with development teams to ensure documentation is integrated into the development process and meets the needs of users. Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies Continuously update knowledge and skills to stay current with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies.
