Job Description In this role you will manage Food & Beverage clients (CPG, Foodservice, Retailers, etc.) from two of the largest syndicated consumption tracking studies in Canada. As a Senior Research Manager you will work with these clients to understand their business issues and execute custom research projects that meet their needs. You will manage multiple projects from start to finish, designing analytical plans with senior team members, extracting and analyzing data through different software, generating insights, developing recommendations, and creating compelling stories and presentations that illuminate human behavior behind the data. The Senior Account Manager will report to the Vice President and join a team of curious-minded researchers and client partners. What you will be doing Understand and address business needs/issues of respective clients. Manage multiple survey‑based market research projects simultaneously, working closely with colleagues in other service lines to oversee all components of projects and coaching junior staff to develop their project management and research skills. Design plan analyses. Analyze data and draw conclusions; prepare reports and presentations; make recommendations based on the insights that address the client’s business needs. Assist in proposal development with senior colleagues as needed. Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and consultation. May act as manager to one or more Account Managers/Research Analysts, including overseeing training schedules, day‑to‑day guidance and supervision, and providing feedback (ongoing and during annual review and goal setting). Qualifications 5+ years relevant experience (supplier‑side market research preferred). Experience working with Food & Beverage and/or Foodservice is an asset. Strong quantitative, research, analytical, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to turn data into insights through analysis and storytelling. Ability to oversee and direct multiple projects. Self‑motivated and entrepreneurial, able to think independently. Intellectually curious with a desire to better understand the “why” behind the data. Works well in a team environment with senior and junior colleagues. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to review the work of others for grammar, formatting, and voice. Bachelor’s Degree required – market research, marketing, and/or business coursework/programs are an asset.
