Job Title: Solution Architect Long term contract We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Master Data Management (MDM) Architect who will define the future-state vision and multi-year roadmap for our MDM program. This critical role provides technical and architectural leadership for our global MDM strategy, supporting deployment and optimization across 100+ countries. The architect is the primary owner of the complete MDM solution architecture, ensuring the system is designed to run as expected, balances emergent design, and takes a system view across the domain. The ideal candidate will be a Strategic thought leader who can envision the future and recognizes the potential that IT can have on the organization, communicating that vision to client executives. This role involves deep involvement in Data Governance, Cloud Data Management, and applying AI/ML techniques to optimize global MDM processes. Job Duties/Responsibilities Develop and maintain the product's technology roadmap aligned with the overall Digital Technology strategy and principles. Design solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards. Own and aggressively drive forward MDM, Data Governance, and Cloud Data Management initiatives. Be the primary owner of the complete MDM solution architecture, from conceptual to physical design and perform architectural planning, MDM data modeling, proof‑of‑concept, and development. Define and implement standards, shared components, and approaches for projects and the Enterprise. Envision, plan, and support MDM solution implementation, providing guidance during the whole process. Provide expert technical review and suggestions for survivorship and match/merge rules for each new source system. Design the complete integration architecture to support a hybrid model of both real‑time and batch interfaces. Own and maintain all critical "living" architectural artifacts, including updating solution design documents and architecture diagrams. Qualification/Experience Required MDM Architecture Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in architecting and designing MDM solutions (7 years’ experience preferred). Implementation Expertise: Deep expertise in implementing MDM solutions, ideally serving as a project or technical leader in 3 or more projects. Architecture Services: Significant experience in architecture services, designing, developing, and delivering technology solutions. Cloud Technologies: Expertise in cloud technologies, preferably AWS. 3–5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.). MDM Platforms: Implementation expertise in major MDM applications such as Reltio or similar platforms (e.g., Informatica, IBM MDM, SAP MDG, Semarchy). MDM Configuration: Strong experience in configuring match rules, survivorship rules, workflows, and reference data. Integration Solutions: Experience in integration solutions including Mulesoft. Hands‑on experience implementing integrations using MuleSoft and/or Solace. Enterprise Systems Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with enterprise source systems and systems that consume master & reference data, including CRM, ERP, and Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence. Mandatory Skills Required - technical/non‑technical MDM Platforms: Implementation expertise in major MDM applications such as Reltio or similar platforms (e.g., Informatica, IBM MDM, SAP MDG, Semarchy). Integration Solutions: Experience in integration solutions including Mulesoft. Hands‑on experience implementing integrations using MuleSoft and/or Solace. Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise & business knowledge in Pharma/Biotech/information industry. Master Data Domains: SME‑level understanding of critical master data domains (e.g., HCP, HCO, Product, Payer). Communication: Demonstrated effective oral, written, public, and interpersonal communication skills. Top Primary Goals for New Hire within 60days Complete knowledge transfer from current architect and independently handle requests. Identify process optimizations and plan for the same.
