Serve visitors at The Bentway Skate Trail through customer service, POS transactions, beverage service, and skate equipment rentals this winter. This fixed-term contract pays $20 per hour.
Winter Sales Staff work within The Bentway’s Facilities team, operating the concession and facilitating on-site skate equipment rentals. The work includes visitor communication, non-alcoholic drinks, snack service, and skate fitting. Provided training supports skate sharpening requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent front-line customer service for visitors and the public
- Process transactions through the POS system
- Mix and serve non-alcoholic beverages
- Assist customers with skate fitting
- Complete cleaning, restocking, storage, and trash disposal
Requirements:
- Previous retail, serving, or customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal and visitor communication skills
- Ability to work flexible evenings and weekends
- Availability during varied weather conditions
- Willingness to follow required safety protocols
