Family Physician – Mental Health & Substance Use Join Fraser Health Authority as a part‑time General Practitioner/Family Physician with a focus on mental health and substance use. The role spans the Oceanside and Arbutus Tertiary Geriatric Psychiatry teams and involves caring for patients at both sites. Job Summary Provide medical responsibility for patients under your care at both sites, proactively addressing medical issues and coordinating with specialists as needed. Participate in new admissions medical assessments, support complex family situations, and contribute to the on‑call rota covering both locations. Responsibilities Medical responsibility for patients under your care at both sites, proactively dealing with medical issues and liaising with specialists as needed. Available for medical assessment for new admissions and flexible support for MHAct forms when required. Participation in the on‑call rota covering both sides. Providing cross‑coverage to other GP colleagues. Compensation Alternative Payment Plan, sessional. Qualifications ACLS, CCFP, CMPA, CPSBC eligibility for full license (CPSBC Full or Provisional).
