Hays has partnered with a mixed use developer and construction company seeking an experienced Mutlifamily Superintendent for an upcoming project in Winnipeg.


Responsibilities:


- Manage all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.

- Monitor project progress and ensure that it is on track to meet established timelines.

- Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that all project goals are met.

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being done according to plan and that safety protocols are being followed.

- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.

- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and regulations.

- Use technology tools such as Bluebeam and Procore to manage project documentation and communication.


Requirements:


- At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent in the construction industry, preferably with experience in multifamily, industrial, retail, and office projects.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and team members.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Knowledge of construction technology tools such as Bluebeam and Procore.

- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
