The Role We are currently searching for a Supervisor, Operations reporting to the Senior Manager, DC Operations . This is a full‑time, permanent opportunity. Candidates will primarily work the day shift, however, availability to work all shifts in a 24/7 operation is needed to succeed in this role. As a member of our Distribution team, you will play a critical leadership role in supporting day‑to‑day warehouse operations in a fast‑paced, unionized environment. You’ll be responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, supporting inventory and fleet management, and delivering exceptional service to our retail and wholesale customers. Success in this role requires strong communication and people leadership skills, sound decision‑making, and the ability to motivate and guide teams in a 24/7 environment. Location Onsite at the Sudbury Distribution Centre What You’ll Be Doing Supervise the shift activities within a busy unionized DC environment. Training of new and existing employees and performance management. Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met. Ensure the company’s health and safety, operational and budgetary efficiencies are met. Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service. Other responsibilities involve inventory, fleet and warehouse management, quality control, SOX and audit compliance. Other related duties as assigned. Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Post‑secondary education is considered an asset. Experience A minimum of 3–5 years of operations experience. Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset. Previous experience working in a unionized environment would be a strong asset. This role requires that you hold a valid “G” class licence. Skills Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with employees across all levels of the organization. Proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reports. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills with peers, leaders, internal and external customers. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). The ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashion. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Transportation and WSIB regulations would be an asset.
