We provide recommendations to enhance operational performance, pursue meaningful process improvements, and ensure adherence to internal and external regulations. We crunch the data, consult with partners and stakeholders, and present findings to mitigate risks and keep daily operations running smoothly. Position Overview The Audit Manager II is a Financial Crime Professional who leads audit engagements as Auditor In Charge (AIC), manages the Financial Crimes Audit Program, and oversees a team of auditors. The role involves conducting audits of systems of internal controls to determine compliance with regulatory requirements, issue management, audit planning, risk assessment, and ad‑hoc projects. It also requires collaboration with other audit groups—Models, Information Technology, and Business Segments—to audit across the bank. Preferred Qualifications Financial Crime designations (CAMS, CFE, FIS, CFCS) Strong knowledge of Financial Crimes regulations including AML, ATF, sanctions, FATF recommendations, and related frameworks Knowledge of FINTRAC Guidelines, Proceeds of Crime Act, Terrorist Financing Act, Criminal Code, and sanctions regulations Experience in audit, monitoring, testing, quality assurance, and quality control Strong communication, interpersonal, people‑management, and project‑management skills Ability to write and review audit findings and reports Understanding of financial products and services Proficiency in data management controls, IT, models, and data analytics Job Requirements Over 7 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree Relevant professional certifications and accounting designations Advanced knowledge of business processes, risk, change and project methodologies, and organizational practices Expertise in software tools, Windows applications, data analysis, and reporting techniques Strong leadership to negotiate and influence key partners, including employees Aptitude for sound judgment, confidentiality, and handling sensitive information Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Deep knowledge of specialist auditing and integration of cross‑functional processes to complete audit projects Who We Are TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and the fifth largest bank in North America by branches.
