Business Analyst Summer Student Eligibility Requirements Student placement for 4 months (May–August 2026). Must be returning to school after the work term end date of August 2026, or if graduating in April/August 2026, must require the work term as a mandatory component for graduation. Opportunity Overview The Business Analyst Summer Student will work closely with the Corporate Client Group (CCG) National Strategic Planning and Operations team to support the business with data management, reporting, process improvement, and transformation initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities Support CCG teams in driving market share growth through strategic initiatives. Prepare reporting materials for monthly and quarterly business reviews. Implement robust database and reporting systems for the CCG team and senior management. Fulfill ad‑hoc and periodic data requests based on business requirements. Analyze data to provide insights and build dashboards and visualizations. Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency. Perform data mining, cleanup, and investigate discrepancies to enhance data quality. Support database administration activities and troubleshoot user inquiries. Document and diagram system and data management processes. Required Qualifications (Must‑Have) 3rd or 4th year student with at least one related co‑op/work placement. Undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office with a strong focus on Excel & VBA and familiarity with Access. Ability to perform well under pressure, meet time‑sensitive deadlines, and prioritize work. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Team player able to work independently. Strong oral and written communication skills.
