ROLE: PROCESS ENGINEER

LOCATION: CALGARY OR GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA


Rheaume Engineering Inc. is seeking a part-time or full-time Process Engineer to join our team.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct equipment sizing calculations
  • Perform process simulations
  • Conduct PSV sizing and flare system analysis
  • Work on de-bottlenecking projects to increase production and efficiency
  • Prepare engineering reports
  • Evaluate inventory and surplus equipment for suitability within projects
  • Work with others to develop plot plans, PFDs, P&IDs, and line lists
  • Prepare data-sheets and specifications for equipment to be purchased
  • Review vendor drawings and documentation


Who you are:

  • 5+ years of Western Canada oil and gas process engineering experience
  • Chemical P. Eng. currently registered with APEGA
  • Currently residing in Calgary or Grande Prairie, Alberta
  • Hard worker, detailed oriented, problem solver
  • Ability to work on multiple project deadlines simultaneously
  • Effective communicator: both written and oral
  • Adaptable to fluctuating hours and workload, driven by project needs


Compensation:

Either employee or contractor status may be considered for this role. Rheaume has a competitive, multi-faceted compensation plan including a competitive hourly rate based on experience and education, health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching.
