Read and follow blueprints, floor plans, or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures for office furniture and related components. Assist with loading and unloading furniture from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling and transport. Install furniture components in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Accurately measure and mark reference points and installation lines using appropriate measuring instruments for furniture installations. Perform repairs, adjustments, or replacements to damaged or malfunctioning furniture components as needed. Inspect all furniture components for defects or damage prior to installation to ensure quality standards are met. Support the setup and installation process by collaborating with team members and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by strictly adhering to workplace safety protocols and procedures. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their furniture needs and provide cost estimates when necessary. Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.
